Beekeeping and hives in Biggenden, Queensland

Here at Biggenden Beekeeping Supplies, we sell beekeeping supplies and nucleus hives. Nucleus hives are centred around the queen bee and are often split from larger colonies to create a new colony. These hives are seasonal, so it’s best to contact us to find out what we have available, if you're interested in beginning your own journey with a hive. 
We stock an affordable range of beekeeping equipment such as bee suits, smokers and tools, and we specialise in composite brood and super boxes that need no further upkeep.

We have over ten years of experience and are happy to help beekeepers and first time beekeepers with their hives and their honey.
 Local Biggenden honey is also available to buy in store! 

Please note if you are passing through during closed hours please ring Tash 0413172773 and the doors will be opened within 20 minutes.

More Than Just Bees

Our location in Biggenden not only sells bees and beekeeping supplies but we also have a museum and a dance studio, too!


Biggenden Quarry, previously known as Mt Biggenden Mine  is famous for its diversity in rocks and minerals and our museum displays these local quarry finds and history.


Biggenden Boot Scootin Body Groovers!

The Line Dance Studio is open on Fridays 8:30am-9.30am, 5pm-6pm and 7pm onwards- dance until we drop!.
$5 per person per session.

Please note dance times are subject to change.

Beekeeping Supplies and Equipment

In store we sell a range of high-quality beekeeping supplies to help you with your beekeeping and hives.

Our supplies and equipment range from bees and hives, bottling stations, extractors to pest treatment and smokers etc, plenty to see and choose from!

For beginners, our experienced beekeepers will help you find the right equipment and advise you on how to look after your bees, hive and honey. We are passionate about our beekeeping and enjoy educating others on beekeeping and keeping our bees alive and happy.

Remember bees provide 3/4 of our food source through pollination, so we will strive to bee a bee keeper not a bee haver.
